Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of MaxWeb's website design and development services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

MaxWeb Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is located in London, United Kingdom.

2. Services

MaxWeb provides website design and development services for small businesses in the United Kingdom. Our services include:

  • Custom website design and development
  • Mobile-responsive website builds
  • Contact form integration
  • Basic search engine optimisation
  • Domain and hosting setup assistance
  • Ongoing website support and maintenance (optional)

The specific deliverables for your project will be outlined in our initial proposal or the package you select.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full before commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via bank transfer and major credit/debit cards.

All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time, though any quoted price will be honoured for 30 days from the date of quotation.

For ongoing support packages, payment is due monthly in advance. We will notify you at least 14 days before any price changes to your support package.

4. Revisions and Refunds

Your satisfaction is our priority. Each project includes up to three rounds of revisions to the initial design. Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving each draft.

If after three rounds of revisions you are not satisfied with the work, we offer a full refund of the project fee. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the final revision.

Refunds do not apply to third-party costs such as domain registration fees, hosting fees, or stock imagery purchased on your behalf.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you will own all intellectual property rights to the custom website design created for you. This includes all custom graphics, layouts, and content created specifically for your project.

We retain the right to display your completed website in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.

Third-party elements such as stock images, fonts, and plugins remain subject to their respective licence terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

MaxWeb will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question.

We are not responsible for any losses caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to hosting provider downtime, domain registrar issues, or third-party service failures.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
